This artwork I created for
ARTFLAKES attempts to ask the question:
When does it happen that the world powers that seek out justice turn towards vengeance? When does war on an entire nation become justified to punish the actions of the few? Those of us who recognize this crime can also feel in our bones that these "untouchable" violent powers will one day have to give an account on how they have directed their armed forces. There is one much greater who proclaims "Vengeance is Mine" who knows the true boundary of Justice (Deuteronomy 32:35). If we search our hearts we feel the burning truth that injustice like this will not stand—the universe simply was not written that way.
